Why do ENT practices get so many phone calls?
One front desk may be handling ENT, allergy, audiology and surgery calls while checking patients in. Different appointment types and schedules bring different administrative questions.
- Allergy patients on weekly or biweekly shots need appointments within limited shot-clinic hours and often need to reschedule
- Hearing aid fittings, follow-ups, repairs, and battery or cleaning visits each generate booking requests
- Referrals and new-patient requests need a callback from the right staff member
- Common questions about hours, insurance, paperwork and directions tie up the same phone line
What do we handle for an ENT office?
We start with our done-for-you AI receptionist service for missed and after-hours calls. Your practice approves the appointment types, booking rules and answers before go-live.
- Booking and rescheduling allergy shots only within your shot-clinic hours
- New-patient and follow-up ENT visits, or booking requests your team confirms where direct booking is unavailable
- Hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, follow-ups and repairs, using separate appointment types and audiologist schedules
- Referral calls from patients and doctors' offices: capture details and route them to the right person
- Hours, location, insurance and forms questions, using only answers your practice approves
- After-hours requests captured and booked within your rules or queued for your team in the morning
How do you keep it safe for clinical questions?
We do not give medical advice or assess symptoms through the reception service. We send urgent symptom questions, including breathing difficulty, severe bleeding or sudden hearing loss, to your on-call process and give your approved guidance to call 911 for emergencies. We do not diagnose or decide how serious symptoms are.
We always send allergy reaction questions to clinical staff. Your practice decides what we handle, what goes to a person, and transfers or callbacks when a staff member is unavailable.
Will it work with our scheduling and intake tools?
We work alongside your existing practice-management and online intake tools. Where there is an open booking API, we configure booking around the appointment types, clinic hours and availability your practice approves. Where there is not, we start with call forwarding and structured booking requests your team confirms.
We confirm the available connection and test your workflows before launch. Nothing here assumes an integration with a specific software vendor.
How is patient information protected?
Before go-live, we sign a BAA with you, and every vendor that touches patient data is under a BAA. For US practices, patient data stays in US-hosted systems.
Your practice sets access, verification and retention rules. Read our HIPAA and privacy commitments for more about patient information and vendor agreements.
